I have been working as a CREATIVE TEAM LEADER in various countries providing clients with appropriate design solutions. After obtaining my MA in Interaction Design at Domus Academy in Milan, my design interest shifted from products towards the development of Services and User Experiences, and to the creation of interactions based on the observation and understanding of human behaviour.
At the moment I am doing a PhD at Loughborough University. My research seeks to examine the user involvement and appropiation that contribute to the further development of digital services.
I have worked as a DESIGN RESEARCHER at Sheffield Hallam University at the design research institute C3RI developing EXPERIENCE AND SERVICES design projects. As part of an interdisciplinary team of the Innovation Futures, a European Union research project, I helped small and medium enterprises in the path to innovation.
As CREATIVE DESIGN FACILITATOR, I enable people to learn and to do their design work in the most effective way, helping them to open up their minds to new ways of approaching a problem. I have been a Visiting Lecturer at Glasgow School of Art, running a series of video-prototype workshops in the Product and Product Engineering courses. I have also works at the Open University as Associate Lecturer in the Design Thinking module.
